My favorite “touchy-feely” physics book is “The Way Things Work” David Macaulay
It’s all about how cavemen invented these tools to do all these jobs. And everything involves a mammoth. Even the mammoth-shaped nuclear reactor. It’s hilarious, and the physics is decent.
